BTEX in the water at AGL Pilot Project site, how harmful is it ?

You’re invited to an AGL presentation on BTEX findings

Government agencies recently released the results of their investigations into BTEX detections at the Waukivory Pilot Project site, concluding that there is no evidence of harm to the environment or pollution of waters.

Assessments have also been conducted by independent environmental science consultants EnRiskS on behalf of AGL.  Jackie Wright, Director of EnRiskS, evaluated the potential impact of BTEX on human health and the environment at Waukivory Pilot Project site.  She compared the detection levels to other everyday sources of BTEX and set guidelines that would prompt AGL to further action.

Jackie will be presenting her findings on BTEX to the community in a public information session next week.
